Think and Grow Rich

I just completed this book.
In the last few weeks I have also read, The Richest Man in Babylon and Rich Dad Poor Dad.
This book was different in terms of style. It's basically about 13 concepts of self preparation that should lead to financial success. The best way to describe it as a cross between and self help/motivational book combined with personal finance. The concepts discussed are faith, desire, motivation, effort, etc etc. The combination of all of these aspects will lead you to financial success. Basically the book gets the reader to make a financial plan, and provides counterpoints for any doubts as to why the plan will not work. Pretty Solid book and worth the time if you ask me.

The media covered the Sean Taylor tragedy horrendously.



Honestly, if the redskins contigent (Gibbs, Snyder, Cerratto, Williams) would not have spoke so highly of him, the media would be insulting him instead of saying he was unknown.

Academic Anabolics

It seems like the a the intellectual community is vulnerable to the same virus infecting Major League Baseball. Athletes and academics alike have been taking performance enhancing substances. ADD medication seams to bring the mind to some unforeseen level of focus and precision like steroids and HGD does for athletes.

The True Martyr

My definition of a martyr is one who gives up their life because of belief in their cause. Those that take their lives for a cause is a coward. The term is appropriate because anyone who choses not to live through obstacles of life deserves no accolades.
This is the difference between Benazir Bhutto and the coward suicide bomber that took her life. True martyrs die in battle as Ms. Bhutto did. She chose to come back to Pakistan after exile despite the threat to her person. She chose not to flee even after the first assassination attempt in October. She was a true warrior and may she rest in peace. Now the terrorist based nuclear Pakistan's chances for a democracy have been severely mitigated.

Implausible Deniability

It looks like our President is playing the game of deniability.
We all know that he was aware of what happened to the tapes.
The key is that his knowledge is not official, and therefore we cannot place any official blame on him. So does that mean the President does not have control of his staff? That is what looks like.

The song is very catchy and should do well. What's more intriguing
is how long Snoop is waiting to release the album. Four months from single to album is a long time. I think this will allow him to release more songs for the album than previously.
